Te Horanui RTLB Cluster in the beautiful Selwyn District. I am a passionate classroom teacher, a trained
Reading Recovery teacher, worked as a Team Leader and BoT rep, as well as having been a WSL teacher,
curriculum leader, mentor and associate teacher

My interests outside of work
I love to travel and experience new things with my husband and 2 children. We enjoy exploring Aotearoa and abroad and I’m passionate about immersing ourselves in different cultures, tasting amazing food and finding places that inspire. I also enjoy spending time at home with the animals and using my time away from the office to exercise, socialise and relax with a good book.

My educational passion is working collaboratively with others to support our tamariki to succeed. I enjoy building strong relationships with whānau, akonga and kaiako and being part of their journey. I have an interest in the Science of Well-being and inclusive practice, while also being intrigued by the brain and the development
