My educational background
With over 20 years in education-including classroom teaching, team leadership, and specialist literacy support-I bring a strong commitment to inclusive, evidence-based practice.
I hold a Bachelor of Education, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Literacy Education), and I am a qualified Multi-sensory Structured Literacy Specialist Educator.
As an experienced educational leader and literacy specialist (formerly an RTLit), I have led school-wide improvement initiatives, strengthened staff capability, and supported meaningful, sustainable change. I value professional partnerships, set high expectations, and provide practical, evidence-informed support that makes a genuine difference in teaching and learning outcomes.

My interests outside of work
When I'm not working, you'll often find me spending quality time with family and friends or out on a long walk with an inspiring podcast in my ears. These moments keep me grounded and connected.
My educational passions and superpowers
I'm a respected educator with a deep understanding of how to support schools, teachers, and students across diverse contexts-from early childhood through to secondary education. My approach is flexible, responsive, and focused on making a meaningful difference for every learner.
I'm passionate about building teacher capability through coaching, mentoring, and modelling high-impact practices that help educators implement evidence-based strategies with confidence. I advocate for teaching that's consistent, high-quality, and delivered with integrity, collaboration, and purpose-because every learner deserves the best possible outcomes
